Ensure the fryer is unplugged and cooled. Remove the basket and pan, wash them with warm soapy water, and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
The recommended oil capacity for the Brandt FRI-2100 is approximately 2.5 liters.
Ensure you do not exceed the recommended oil level, and avoid using low smoke point oils. Regularly clean the fryer to prevent oil residue build-up.
Check if the fryer is securely plugged into a functioning outlet. Ensure the power cord is not damaged, and verify that the thermal safety cut-off has not been triggered.
The basket and oil pan are generally dishwasher safe, but refer to the user manual for specific parts that can be washed in a dishwasher.
The optimal frying temperature is typically between 170°C and 190°C, depending on the type of food being fried.
Unplug the fryer and allow it to cool completely. Press the reset button located near the power cord to reset the thermal cut-off.
Ensure the fryer is properly plugged in and the temperature control is set correctly. If the problem persists, the heating element may need inspection or replacement.
It is recommended to use liquid oils rather than solid fats to prevent damage to the fryer and ensure even heating.
Oil should be changed after 8-10 uses or sooner if it becomes dark or has an off odor. Regularly filtering oil can also extend its life.
