Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the filter is clean and the sink's drain is clear. If issues persist, inspect the dishwasher's pump or consult a technician.
To clean the filter, remove the lower rack and unscrew the filter cover. Take out the filter and rinse it under warm water to remove debris. Reassemble it securely before using the dishwasher again.
Use high-quality dishwasher detergent tablets or powder that are recommended for use in dishwashers. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excessive sudsing.
Unusual noises could be caused by items in the dishwasher rattling against each other. Ensure dishes are properly loaded and check for any loose components or obstructions in the spray arm.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning the filter and inspecting the spray arms, should be performed monthly. Additionally, descaling the appliance every 3-6 months can prevent buildup.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items like glasses and plates on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and that water can reach all items.
Ensure that the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is closed securely. Check the circuit breaker and inspect the control panel for any error codes.
Inspect the door gasket for damage or debris and ensure it is sealing properly. Also, check the hoses for leaks and ensure they are tightly connected.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying performance. Additionally, ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded, which can obstruct airflow and drying efficiency.
