To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside your refrigerator. Use the temperature control buttons to set your desired temperature. The ideal fridge temperature is between 37°F (3°C) and 40°F (5°C).
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Check the temperature settings and ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the issue persists, inspect the door seals for damage and clean the condenser coils located at the back of the refrigerator.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months to maintain optimal performance and efficiency of your refrigerator.
Water pooling could be due to a clogged defrost drain. To fix this, locate the drain hole inside the fridge and use a mixture of warm water and baking soda to clear any blockages.
Keep raw meats on the bottom shelves to avoid contamination, store dairy products on the upper shelves, and use the door compartments for condiments and drinks. Ensure there is space between items for proper air circulation.
Unplug the refrigerator and remove the cover of the light bulb compartment. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises may indicate a problem with the compressor or the fans. Check if the refrigerator is level and not touching any walls or cabinets. If the noise persists, contact a qualified technician to inspect the appliance.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Clean the interior once defrosted and plug the refrigerator back in.
Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior of the refrigerator. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. For the exterior, use a damp cloth to wipe down surfaces.
Ensure the door seals are intact and the doors close properly. Avoid placing hot foods directly into the fridge. Keep the fridge full but not overcrowded to allow air circulation, and regularly clean the condenser coils.
