To set the temperature, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Adjust the temperature settings by pressing the '+' or '-' buttons until you reach the desired temperature. The recommended settings are 4°C for the refrigerator compartment and -18°C for the freezer.
First, ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Check if the temperature settings are correct. Make sure the door seals are clean and not damaged. If the problem persists, contact Brandt customer service for further assistance.
To manually defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Allow the ice to melt naturally or use a bowl of hot water to speed up the process. Clean up any water with a towel and reconnect the power.
Remove all food items and shelves. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Unplug the refrigerator first. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, unscrew it, and remove the faulty bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Check if the refrigerator is level and stable. Noises can also be due to items vibrating inside. Ensure nothing is touching the back wall and that all shelves are secure. If noises continue, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure efficient operation. Unplug the refrigerator and use a vacuum or brush to remove dust and debris from the coils located at the back or underneath the unit.
Check if the refrigerator is level and adjust the feet if necessary. Inspect the door seals for debris or damage and clean them with a damp cloth. Ensure there are no items obstructing the door from closing fully.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the door closed as much as possible and ensure the seals are airtight. Regularly clean the condenser coils and set the temperature to the recommended levels.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged and clean it with warm water. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent water accumulation. If the problem persists, it may indicate a more serious issue requiring professional repair.
