To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside your refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature. The LED display will show the current setting.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the doors are properly closed and the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the issue persists, consider cleaning the condenser coils or checking the thermostat settings.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt. You can place towels on the floor to absorb excess water. Once defrosted, wipe down the interior before plugging it back in.
Ensure the refrigerator is positioned in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the door seals clean and intact, and avoid overloading the fridge to maintain proper airflow.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged. If so, clean it with warm water and a mild detergent. Ensure that food items are not blocking the airflow vents, which can also cause condensation and water leaks.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and remove the light cover. Carefully unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the light cover and plug in the refrigerator.
Unusual noises can be caused by items touching the back wall or shelves rattling. Ensure the refrigerator is level and check that nothing is obstructing the fan. If noises persist, it may indicate a faulty component needing professional inspection.
Prevent ice build-up by regularly checking the door seals for gaps and ensuring they close properly. Avoid placing hot food directly into the freezer and periodically defrost the freezer if you notice ice accumulation.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning condenser coils, checking door seals, ensuring proper leveling, and periodically defrosting the freezer. Additionally, keep the refrigerator interior clean and avoid overloading shelves.
