To change the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the temperature to your desired setting. The recommended temperature for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure that the vents inside the fridge are not blocked and the door seals are clean and intact. If the problem persists, consider defrosting the unit or contacting a professional technician for assistance.
To defrost the freezer, remove all food items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open and allow the ice to melt naturally. You can place towels on the bottom of the freezer to absorb the water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to clean the interior surfaces. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Remove and clean all detachable shelves and drawers separately. Dry all surfaces thoroughly before returning items to the refrigerator.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover, usually at the top of the refrigerator compartment. Remove the cover and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Check the drain located at the bottom back of the refrigerator. Clear any debris or ice buildup using a small brush or warm water. Ensure the drain is clear, allowing water to flow freely.
Condenser coils should be cleaned every 6 to 12 months. Unplug the refrigerator, and use a vacuum or coil cleaning brush to remove dust and debris from the coils, which are typically located at the back or beneath the unit.
Store food in airtight containers and avoid overloading the refrigerator to allow proper air circulation. Place raw meat in the coldest part of the fridge and keep fruits and vegetables in designated crisper drawers. Ensure that items do not block the air vents.
To reset the alarm, press the alarm reset button on the control panel. If the alarm persists, check to ensure the door is fully closed and the temperature is set correctly. If issues continue, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
For initial setup, position the refrigerator in its desired location, ensuring proper ventilation around the unit. Plug it in and set the temperature to the recommended settings. Allow it to cool for several hours before loading it with food.
