To reset your Brandt A100FE1 dishwasher, press and hold the "Start/Stop" button for a few seconds until the display clears or shows a reset message. Release the button and wait for the dishwasher to reset.
Check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages. Ensure the filter is clean and the sink drain is not clogged. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for obstructions.
Remove the lower rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist and pull it out, then rinse it under running water to remove debris. Reassemble the filter by placing it back in its position and twisting it securely.
Error code E4 indicates a water overflow. Check for any leaks and ensure that the dishwasher is level. Inspect the inlet valve and float switch for proper operation.
Place large items such as pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block spray arms. Arrange plates and bowls between the tines, and place cups and glasses at an angle on the upper rack. Cutlery should be placed handle-side down in the cutlery basket.
Ensure the dishwasher door is closed tightly. Check if the power supply is connected and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify that the control panel settings are correct and the "Start" button has been pressed.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled, as rinse aid helps improve drying. Select a heated drying option if available and ensure that dishes are arranged so that water can drain off easily.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms to prevent clogs. Check and clean the door gasket to maintain a proper seal. Run an empty cycle with dishwasher cleaner once a month to remove buildup and odors.
Make sure to use a high-quality dishwasher detergent and fill the rinse aid dispenser. Adjust the water hardness setting if your dishwasher model allows it, and ensure that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C).
Check that dishes are loaded properly and not touching each other or the spray arms. Inspect the spray arms and filter for obstructions. If noises persist, verify that the dishwasher is level and securely installed.
