To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent to the dispenser, close the door, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched, and verify that the water supply is turned on.
Remove the bottom rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it, then rinse it under running water to remove debris. Reinstall the filter by twisting it clockwise until it locks into place.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items like plates and glasses on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and that they are angled to allow water to drain.
Check for clogs in the drain hose and garbage disposal. Inspect the filter for debris and ensure the drain pump is clear. If the problem persists, it may require professional assistance.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent spotting, and ensure that the detergent being used is suitable for your water hardness level.
Clean the filter and spray arms monthly to maintain optimal performance. Wipe the door seals and check for debris in the bottom of the dishwasher regularly.
The Eco mode uses less energy and water by extending the wash time, making it an environmentally friendly option for cleaning lightly soiled dishes.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds until the display indicates a reset. Wait for the dishwasher to finish draining and then restart the cycle.
Do not use regular dish soap in the dishwasher as it can cause excessive suds and damage the appliance. Always use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
