To adjust the fit, use the dial at the back of the helmet to tighten or loosen it. Ensure the helmet sits level on your head, covering your forehead, and the chin strap forms a V-shape under your ears.
Check if the dial or straps are damaged. Tighten the dial and adjust the straps. If the problem persists, contact Bontrager customer support for further assistance or replacement parts.
Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water to clean the helmet. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the helmet's structure. Allow it to air dry.
Store your helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging it by its straps to prevent stretching. Use a helmet bag for additional protection.
Replace your helmet every 3-5 years, or immediately after any significant impact, even if there are no visible signs of damage. Check the manufacture date for guidance.
Bontrager helmets are designed specifically for cycling. For other sports, it's recommended to use helmets designed for those specific activities to ensure safety.
Replacement padding can be purchased from Bontrager or authorized retailers. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for replacing the padding to maintain comfort and fit.
Inspect the helmet for cracks, dents, or compromised foam. If any damage is visible or if the helmet experienced a significant impact, it should be replaced for safety.
Painting or adding stickers can weaken the helmet's integrity and void the warranty. If customization is desired, use products specifically designed for helmets.
Align the visor with the designated slots on the helmet and press firmly until it clicks into place. Refer to the user manual for detailed installation instructions.
