SWITCHING ON/OFF To switch on the instrument move selector a to ON. To switch the instrument off move the same selector to OFF. If the instrument is not used it switches itself off after a few minutes. Press any key to reactivate it.

DEMOSONGS This keyboard has 22 demosongs. Press DEMO g, to listen to the demosongs in sequence. Press STOP i to interrupt.

VOLUME CONTROL Adjust volume to desired level by using the VOLUME buttons c; (+) to increase or () to reduce).

SOUNDS You can select one of the 8 sounds by pressing the related button m.

RHYTHMS You can select one of the 7 rhythms l by pressing the related buttons. Press the TEMPO buttons b to increase (+) or reduce () the rhythm speed. Press STOP i to interrupt.

RECORD/PLAYBACK FUNCTION This function enables you to record and playback a tune played on the keyboard. Press REC f before playing a tune. When you have finished press PLAY h to listen to the tune.

PADS You can utilize the 4 Drum pads d either to play percussion instruments (Hi-Hat, Cymbal, Snare, Bass Drum).

PERCUSSION RHYTHM Pressing the DRUM button e starts a rhythm which changes temporarily whenever one of the 4 rhythm instruments d is pressed.

MICROPHONE Insert microphone in the special holder and connect into the socket j. To switch on the microphone move selector k to ON , to switch the microphone OFF move the same selector to OFF.

MUSICAL NOTES INDICATORS Below the keys on the front of the instrument, there is a coloured label n with indication of numbers next to each button in order to facilitate the recognition of musical notes according to the BONTEMPI method.

There are some songs written with the Bontempi method on the back of the box, while others can be downloaded from the website www.bontempi.com

POWER SUPPLY Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Insert 4 x 1.5 V batteries R6/AA (not supplied), ensuring correct polarity. Re-fit battery cover. Replace batteries when the quality of sound becomes bad. Use alkaline batteries to obtain a longer duration.

ATTENTION - BATTERY CARE: Non-rechargeable batteries are NOT to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and old batteries are not to be mixed. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type. Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity. Remove exhausted batteries to prevent leakage. Do not short circuit supply terminals. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.

WASTE DISPOSAL STANDARDS For information regarding the disposal of the items mentioned here below, please refer to Council Administration office regarding specialised waste collection centres.

1. DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES: Protect the environment by disposing of batteries in the special containers provided for this use.

2. PACKAGING DISPOSAL: Take the paper, cardboard and corrugated board to the appropriate waste collection centres. Plastic material must be placed in the relevant collection containers.

The symbols indicating the various types of plastic are:

ALIMENTATION Ouvrir lemplacement porte-piles avec un tournevis. Insrer 4 piles de 1,5 V type R6/AA (non fournies), en faisant attention la polarit correcte. Remettre le couvercle son emplacement. Substituer les piles quand la qualit du son devient mauvaise. Utiliser des piles alcalines pour obtenir une longue dure.

INDICADOR DE NOTAS MUSICALES En la parte frontal del instrumento, por debajo de las teclas, se coloca una etiqueta de color n con la indicacin de nmeros en correspondencia de cada tecla, de manera que se facilita el reconocimiento de las notas musicales segn el mtodo musical BONTEMPI. En la parte trasera de la caja se encuentran algunas canciones escritas con el mtodo Bontempi, que tambin pueden descargarse en el sitio web www.bontempi.com

ALIMENTACIN Abran el hueco destinado a las pilas con un destornillador de estrella. Coloquen 4 pilas de 1,5V del tipo R6/AA (que no se entregan con el aparato). Cierren la tapa. Sustituya las bateras cuando la calidad del sonido se convierta mediocre. Para una larga duracin se aconseja usar bateras alcalinas.

ADVERTENCIAS: Quiten las pilas descargadas del sitio en el que se colocan las pilas. No recarguen pilas que sean del tipo no recargables. Para recargar las pilas, qutenlas del sitio en el que estn colocadas. Recarguen las pilas bajo la supervisin de una persona adulta. Coloquen las pilas respetando la correcta colocacin de los polos. No usen pilas de tipo diferente ni pilas nuevas y usadas juntas. Usen solamente pilas del tipo recomendado o equivalentes. No pongan en cortocircuito los terminales de alimentacin. Quiten las pilas si el instrumento no se usa durante largos perodos.

NORMAS PARA LA GESTIN INTEGRAL DE LOS RESIDUOS SLIDOS Para la gestin de los residuos detallados a continuacin, informarse en el Ayuntamiento de la propia ciudad sobre la actividad de las entidades responsables especializadas en la gestin integral de los residuos.

Como alternativa, consulte con su distribuidor para devolver el producto en el momento de adquirir un aparato equivalente o, si la dimencin est inferior a 25 cm, se puede devolver sin cargo . La recogida de residuos adecuada favorece el reciclaje de piezas y materiales, y ayuda a proteger el medio ambiente y la salud. CUIDADOS PARA O USO DAS PILHAS: Retirar as pilhas descarregadas do alojamento das pilhas. No recarregar pilhas no recarregveis. Remover as pilhas para recarreg-las. STROOMVERZORGING Open het batterijenvak met een kruisschroevendraaier. Breng 4 batterijen van 1,5V type R6/AA (niet bijgeleverd). Sluit de deksel. Vervang de batterijen wanneer de geluidskwaliteit te wensen over laat. Voor een lange levensduur wordt het geadviseerd alkalinebatterijen te gebruiken.

HET GEBRUIK VAN DE BATTERIJEN: Verwijder lege batterijen uit hun vakjes. Laad de niet-oplaadbare batterijen NIET op. Voor het opladen van batterijen moeten ze uit hun vakjes worden verwijderd. Laad de batterijen op onder toezicht van volwassenen. o Breng de batterijen aan met de correcte polariteit. Gebruik niet tegelijkertijd batterijen van verschillende merken, of nieuwe en gebruikte batterijen tesamen. Gebruik alleen batterijen van het aangeraden soort of een soortgelijk type.
