BMW Z8 Convertible Z8 Series 2002 Owner's Manual

The BMW Z8 Convertible 2002 requires synthetic oil with a viscosity rating of SAE 5W-30.
It is recommended to change the oil every 7,500 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure for the BMW Z8 Convertible 2002 is 32 psi for both front and rear tires.
To reset the service indicator, turn the ignition key to position 1 and press the odometer reset button until the service light flashes, then release it.
The BMW Z8 Convertible 2002 uses ATF Dexron III transmission fluid.
First, check the convertible top fuse and hydraulic fluid level. If these are fine, inspect for any obstructions or damage to the top mechanism.
Use BMW's long-life antifreeze/coolant mixed 50/50 with distilled water.
To replace the air filter, open the hood, locate the air filter housing, unclip the housing, remove the old filter, and insert the new filter. Secure the housing back in place.
If the check engine light comes on, check for loose or damaged gas caps first. If the light persists, use an OBD-II scanner to read the error codes and diagnose the issue.
To maintain leather seats, clean them regularly with a leather cleaner and conditioner to prevent cracking and fading. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
