To assemble the Bissell BigGreen Compact 48X4 Series, first attach the handle to the main body using the provided screws. Ensure all parts are securely tightened before use.
Remove the water tank from the unit, unscrew the cap, and fill with hot tap water up to the marked line. Add the appropriate Bissell cleaning formula following the directions on the bottle.
Check if the dirty water tank is full and needs to be emptied. Inspect for any blockages in the suction path and ensure that the filters are clean and properly positioned.
Turn off and unplug the machine. Check for any debris or hair wrapped around the brush roll. Clean it and ensure the belt is not damaged or broken.
It is recommended to clean the filters after every use. Remove the filters, rinse them under warm water, and allow them to air dry completely before reinstalling.
For optimal performance, use Bissell's cleaning solutions that are specifically formulated for use with the BigGreen Compact 48X4 Series. Other solutions may damage the machine or not clean effectively.
Empty and rinse both the clean and dirty water tanks. Clean the brush roll and filters. Store the machine in a dry place, preferably in an upright position to avoid any leakage.
Ensure that all tanks are properly seated and that the caps and inserts are securely tightened. Check for cracks or damage to the tanks, and replace any faulty parts as necessary.
The Bissell BigGreen Compact 48X4 Series does not have an adjustable flow setting, but it is designed to dispense an optimal amount of solution for effective cleaning.
Regularly clean the machine, including tanks, filters, and brush rolls. Use only recommended cleaning solutions and store it properly when not in use. Perform periodic inspections for wear and tear.
