To assemble the Bissell BigGreen 48F3, first attach the handle to the base unit by aligning it with the grooves and securing it with the provided screws. Ensure all parts are firmly connected before use.
It is recommended to use Bissell's own cleaning solutions for optimal performance. However, any carpet cleaner solution that is safe for use in deep cleaning machines can be used.
First, check if the clean water tank is filled and properly seated. Ensure there are no blockages in the spray nozzles, and inspect the pump belt for any damage or disconnection.
Ensure the brushes are clean and free of debris. Adjust the machine's cleaning path to avoid overlap, and make sure the extraction path is slow and steady.
Regularly clean the brushes and nozzles to remove hair and debris. Empty and rinse the tanks after each use. Check and replace the belts and filters as necessary. Store the machine in a dry, clean place.
While some noise is normal, unusually loud or grinding noises may indicate an issue. Check for obstructions in the brushes or nozzle, and ensure all parts are securely fitted.
Brushes should be inspected regularly and replaced when they show signs of wear or damage. For regular use, consider replacing them every 6-12 months.
Check for blockages in the suction path and ensure the dirty water tank is properly seated. Clean or replace clogged filters and inspect the gasket for a tight seal.
The Bissell BigGreen 48F3 is designed for carpet cleaning. Using it on hardwood floors is not recommended as it may damage the floor or the machine.
Remove the tanks from the machine, empty any remaining water and debris, rinse them thoroughly with warm water, and let them air dry completely before reattaching.
