Check if the ambient light sensor is obstructed, as it may prevent the backlight from activating. Ensure the sensor setting is correct and replace batteries if necessary, as low power can affect the backlight functionality.
To reset the clock, remove the batteries and disconnect any power supply. Wait for a few minutes before reinserting the batteries. This will clear all settings and restore factory defaults.
The Acctim Hugo 15697 typically requires two AA alkaline batteries. For optimal performance, use fresh, high-quality batteries and replace them every 12 months or when the display dims.
Use the volume control buttons located on the side or back of the clock to adjust the alarm volume to your preference. Ensure the alarm is turned on while adjusting to hear the changes.
First, replace the batteries with new ones to ensure adequate power. If the issue persists, check the contrast settings by adjusting the contrast level using the designated button on the clock.
To clean the clock, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface gently. Avoid using water or cleaning solutions, as they can damage the electronic components.
Ensure that the clock is placed away from any magnetic or electronic interference. Replace the batteries if they are old, as low power can affect timekeeping accuracy.
