To assemble the Viking VBLG01 Blender, place the jar on the base, ensuring it locks into place. Attach the blade assembly to the bottom of the jar and secure it by turning clockwise. Place the lid on top, ensuring it fits snugly.
If the blender does not start, ensure it is plugged in. Check that the jar is properly seated on the base. Inspect the power cord and outlet. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To clean the blender, disassemble the jar, blade assembly, and lid. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher if they are dishwasher safe. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
To blend ice, add a small amount of liquid to the jar. Use the pulse function to start breaking the ice, then switch to a high-speed setting. Avoid overloading the jar to prevent motor strain.
To prevent overheating, do not run the blender for extended periods. Allow it to cool between uses, especially after blending thick mixtures. Ensure proper ventilation around the base.
If the blades are not spinning, check for any obstructions inside the jar. Ensure the blade assembly is tightly secured. If the problem continues, inspect the drive socket for any wear or damage.
The Viking VBLG01 Blender can handle hot liquids, but allow them to cool slightly before blending. Ensure the lid is secure and start blending at a low speed to avoid splattering.
Regularly inspect the blade assembly for signs of wear. Clean all removable parts after each use. Periodically check the power cord for damage and ensure the base is free of debris.
To reduce noise, place a rubber mat under the blender to absorb vibrations. Ensure the blender is on a stable surface and consider using lower speed settings when possible.
The Viking VBLG01 Blender is designed for food items only. Blending non-food items can damage the blades and motor, voiding the warranty. Always adhere to the manufacturer's recommendations.
