To adjust the saddle height, loosen the seatpost clamp using an Allen wrench, adjust the saddle to the desired height ensuring your leg is almost fully extended when the pedal is at the lowest point, and then retighten the clamp securely.
The recommended tire pressure is typically between 70-110 psi. Check the sidewall of your tires for specific recommendations and adjust according to your riding conditions and weight.
First, check that the battery is charged and properly connected. Ensure the system is turned on by pressing the power button. If there are still issues, inspect for any loose connections or damaged wires. Refer to the user manual for specific troubleshooting steps.
Regular maintenance includes checking and adjusting the brakes, lubricating the chain, inspecting tire wear and pressure, and ensuring the battery is functioning properly. A professional tune-up is recommended at least once a year.
Use a degreaser to clean the chain, then wipe it with a clean cloth. Apply a bicycle-specific lubricant evenly across the chain while rotating the pedals backwards, and wipe off excess lubricant to prevent dirt accumulation.
Check if the wheel rims and brake pads are clean. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean them if necessary. Ensure the brake pads are correctly aligned with the rims and not worn out. Adjust or replace as needed.
Remove the wheel from the bike, deflate the tire completely, and use tire levers to unseat the tire from the rim. Inspect the tube and tire for damage, replace the tube if necessary, then reseat the tire and inflate it to the recommended pressure.
Currently, the Trek 2020 Domane Plus LT does not support battery upgrades for extended range. However, carrying an extra charged battery for swapping during rides is a viable option.
Store your bike in a dry, temperature-controlled environment. Ensure the battery is partially charged and remove it from the bike if possible. Regularly check the tire pressure and lubricate the chain to prevent rust.
Connect the bike's system to a computer using the appropriate software provided by Trek. Follow the software instructions to check for and install any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and features.
