To start the Thomson TD98 Dryer, load your laundry, close the door securely, select the desired drying program using the control panel, and press the start button.
If the dryer is not heating up, ensure that the power supply is connected properly, check the circuit breaker, and inspect the thermal fuse. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door, locate the lint filter at the bottom of the door opening, pull it out, remove the lint by hand or with a soft brush, and place it back securely.
If the drum is not spinning, check if the dryer door is fully closed. Inspect the drive belt for any damage or wear and replace it if necessary.
Regular maintenance, such as cleaning the lint filter after each use and inspecting the exhaust vent for blockages every few months, is recommended to ensure optimal performance.
It is not recommended to dry shoes in the Thomson TD98 Dryer as it may cause damage to both the shoes and the dryer. Consider air drying or using a specialized shoe dryer.
To prevent wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle and fold or hang them immediately. Using the anti-wrinkle feature can also help.
To reduce drying time, ensure that the lint filter is clean, do not overload the dryer, and select an appropriate drying program based on the fabric type.
Unusual noises may be caused by loose objects in the drum, worn-out drum rollers, or a loose belt. Inspect the drum and components and tighten or replace parts as needed.
If the dryer stops mid-cycle, check for a tripped circuit breaker, ensure the door is fully closed, and inspect the thermal fuse. If the problem continues, seek professional assistance.
