Tascam CD-400U Owner's Manual

To play audio from a USB drive, insert the USB drive into the USB port on the front panel. Use the source button to select USB mode, then navigate through the tracks using the track selection buttons.
Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Try a different disc to rule out disc issues. If the problem persists, clean the CD lens using a soft, dry cloth or a lens cleaning disc.
Download the latest firmware from Tascam's official website. Copy the firmware file to a USB drive, insert it into the USB port, then follow the instructions in the manual to initiate the update process.
Press the Bluetooth button on the front panel. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode, then select the Tascam CD-400U from the list of available devices on your device.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the unit. Press and hold the Stop button while turning the unit back on until the display shows “INIT.” This will reset the unit to its factory settings.
The Tascam CD-400U supports MP3, WAV, and AAC file formats for playback from USB and SD card sources.
Use the RCA line output jacks on the rear panel to connect the Tascam CD-400U to the input jacks of an external amplifier using RCA cables.
Check if the unit is properly connected to a power source and ensure the volume is turned up. Confirm that the correct source is selected and that the output cables are securely connected.
Regularly clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using chemicals or abrasive materials. Clean the CD lens periodically to ensure optimal performance.
While playing a track or folder, press the Repeat button to cycle through repeat options: Repeat One, Repeat All, or Repeat Folder, until the desired mode is selected.
