Suzuki KingQuad LT-F400F 2022 Owner's Manual

To properly break in the engine, avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration for the first 10 hours of operation. Gradually increase the engine speed and load. Check all fluid levels regularly and ensure proper oil and filter changes.
Use high-quality 4-stroke engine oil with a viscosity rating of 10W-40. Ensure it meets the specifications of API service classification SF or SG. Regularly check the oil level and change it according to the maintenance schedule.
If the ATV won't start, check the battery connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure the fuel valve is open and the tank has fuel. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and replace if necessary.
Perform an initial service at 20 hours or 200 miles. Regular maintenance includes an oil change every 100 hours or 1,000 miles, a valve clearance check every 200 hours, and a brake inspection every 50 hours.
To adjust the drive chain tension, place the ATV on a level surface. Loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain tensioners evenly until the chain has about 20-30 mm of slack, then retighten the axle nut.
Stop the ATV and allow the engine to cool. Check for coolant leaks or low levels. Ensure the radiator is clean and free from debris. If the problem persists, consult a Suzuki dealer for further diagnosis.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Clean it with compressed air or wash it with a mild detergent. Ensure it's completely dry before reinstallation. Apply air filter oil to maximize performance.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 5.0 psi (34.5 kPa) and for the rear tires is 5.0 psi (34.5 kPa). Check the pressure regularly and adjust as needed for optimal performance and safety.
For winter storage, clean the ATV thoroughly and apply a coat of wax to protect it. Stabilize the fuel, change the oil, and remove the battery to store it in a warm place. Cover the ATV to protect it from dust and moisture.
Maintain proper tire pressure, avoid excessive idling, and ensure regular maintenance such as air filter cleaning and timely oil changes. Riding smoothly without rapid acceleration can also enhance fuel efficiency.
