To change the oil, warm up the engine, place the bike on a level surface, remove the oil drain plug and let the oil drain completely. Replace the drain plug, remove the oil filter, and install a new one. Finally, refill with the recommended oil type and capacity.
The recommended tire pressure is 29 psi for the front tire and 33 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Check the battery charge and connections, ensure the kill switch is off, inspect the fuel level and fuel line, and check the starter motor and spark plug condition.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes, checking and adjusting tire pressure, inspecting brakes and brake fluid, checking the chain tension, and inspecting the air filter.
Loosen the rear axle nut, adjust the chain tension using the adjuster bolts on either side of the swingarm, ensuring equal adjustments on both sides, and then retighten the axle nut.
The recommended spark plug is the NGK DPR8EA-9. Always check the owner's manual for confirmation.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, use high-quality fuel, avoid excessive idling, and practice smooth throttle control.
Stop the motorcycle immediately, let the engine cool, check the coolant level, inspect the radiator and hoses for leaks, and ensure the cooling fan is operational.
Locate the air filter housing, remove the cover screws, take out the old air filter, insert a new one, and reattach the cover securely.
The correct idle speed is typically around 1,100 to 1,300 RPM. Use the idle adjustment screw on the carburetor to set the idle speed.
