Suzuki GSX-S750 2021 Owner's Manual

To check the engine oil level, place the motorcycle on a level surface, start the engine, and let it idle for a few minutes. Turn off the engine and wait a couple of minutes. Look through the oil level inspection window on the right side of the engine to ensure the oil level falls between the "L" (low) and "F" (full) marks.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 (RON) or higher for optimal performance and to prevent engine knocking.
The chain should be lubricated every 600 miles (1,000 km) or more frequently if the motorcycle is used in wet or dusty conditions. Use a high-quality chain lubricant for best results.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi (250 kPa) for the front tire and 42 psi (290 kPa) for the rear tire. Check and adjust the tire pressure when the tires are cold for accurate readings.
The front suspension can be adjusted by turning the preload adjusters on top of the fork tubes. The rear suspension features a seven-step adjustable spring preload; adjust it using the provided tools based on your weight and riding conditions.
First, check the battery connections for any looseness or corrosion and clean them if necessary. If the connections are secure, test the battery voltage with a multimeter. If it's below 12V, consider recharging the battery with an appropriate motorcycle battery charger. If the problem persists, have the charging system checked by a professional.
To replace the air filter, remove the seat and the fuel tank by unscrewing the bolts. Once the tank is removed, access the air filter housing, unscrew it, and replace the old air filter with a new one. Ensure all parts are reassembled correctly before riding.
During the first 500 miles (800 km), avoid full-throttle starts and rapid acceleration. Keep the engine speed below 5,000 RPM and vary the engine load to ensure proper engine break-in. After 500 miles, gradually increase the engine speed and load.
First, check if the kill switch is in the "RUN" position and ensure the side stand is up with the bike in neutral. Examine the battery charge and connections. Inspect the fuel level and fuel lines for blockages. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consult a professional mechanic.
Brake fluid should be changed every two years to maintain optimal braking performance and prevent moisture accumulation in the brake system. Use DOT 4 brake fluid as specified in the owner's manual.
