To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance such as timely oil changes and air filter cleaning. Check tire pressure regularly and avoid aggressive acceleration. Opt for high-quality fuel and consider using fuel additives that enhance combustion efficiency.
If the motorcycle won't start, check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the kill switch is off and the fuel valve is open. Inspect the spark plug for fouling and replace if necessary. If problems persist, consult a professional mechanic.
It is recommended to change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 kilometers or every six months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes help maintain engine performance and longevity.
For optimal performance, maintain the tire pressure at 29 psi for the front tire and 36 psi for the rear tire. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold for accurate readings.
To adjust the chain tension, place the bike on a stand, loosen the rear axle nut, and turn the adjuster bolts on either side of the swingarm evenly. Aim for 20-30mm of slack in the middle of the chain's bottom span. Tighten the axle nut once adjusted.
Signs include squealing noise, reduced braking efficiency, and brake pad thickness less than 1.5mm. Regularly inspect the pads and replace them if any of these signs are present to ensure safe braking performance.
To check the coolant level, ensure the engine is cool and the bike is on a level surface. Locate the coolant reservoir and check if the fluid is between the "Full" and "Low" marks. Top up with the recommended coolant if necessary.
If the engine overheats, pull over safely and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool before checking the coolant level. Inspect for leaks or blockages in the cooling system. If the issue persists, consult a mechanic.
To maintain battery life, ensure the terminals are clean and secure. Avoid leaving electrical components on when the engine is off. If storing the bike for long periods, disconnect the battery or use a battery maintainer.
For the Suzuki GSX R 125, it is recommended to use a high-quality 10W-40 motorcycle oil that meets the API SG or JASO MA standards. Synthetic oils are often preferred for better performance and protection.
