Ensure the fuel valve is open, the transmission is in neutral, and the engine kill switch is in the 'Run' position. Use the kickstarter with a steady motion to start the engine.
Use a high-quality 10W-40 motorcycle oil that meets or exceeds the API SG standards for optimal performance.
Inspect the air filter every 600 miles or 1000 kilometers and clean or replace it if it appears dirty or clogged.
Maintain the front tire pressure at 22 psi and the rear tire pressure at 22 psi for optimal performance.
Loosen the rear axle nuts and adjust the chain tensioners evenly on both sides until the chain deflection is between 0.8 to 1.2 inches. Tighten the axle nuts securely after adjustment.
Stop the motorcycle immediately, allow the engine to cool down, check the coolant level, and inspect for any leaks or blockages in the cooling system.
Maintain proper tire pressure, ensure regular maintenance like oil changes, and avoid aggressive acceleration to improve fuel efficiency.
Clean the bike thoroughly, drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place with a cover.
Check the fuel supply, spark plug condition, and ensure the kill switch is in the 'Run' position. Also, verify the battery charge and connections.
Regularly check the oil level, tire pressure, brake function, chain tension, and ensure all nuts and bolts are tightened securely.
