The recommended oil for the Suzuki DR-Z125L 2019 is SAE 10W-40, API service classification SG or higher.
It is recommended to change the oil every 6 months or every 1,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi for the front tire and 18 psi for the rear tire.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the axle nut, adjust the chain adjusters evenly on both sides, and then tighten the axle nut. Ensure there is about 20-30 mm of slack in the chain.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based antifreeze coolant that is compatible with aluminum engines.
Check the battery charge, ensure the fuel valve is open, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and verify that the engine stop switch is in the "Run" position.
The spark plug gap should be set to 0.6-0.7 mm.
Maintain proper tire pressure, ensure regular maintenance, use high-quality fuel, and avoid aggressive acceleration and braking.
Regular maintenance includes oil changes, air filter cleaning or replacement, chain lubrication, checking brake pads, and inspecting tire pressure and tread.
To store the motorcycle for winter, clean it thoroughly, change the oil, fill the fuel tank and add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and cover the motorcycle to protect it from dust and moisture.
