To start the Subaru Robin RGX305 Generator, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the choke lever to the "closed" position, turn the engine switch to "ON," and pull the starter handle until the engine starts. Once started, move the choke to the "open" position.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for general temperature ranges. For extreme temperature conditions, refer to the owner's manual for appropriate oil viscosity.
Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 50 hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
Conduct regular maintenance such as checking the air filter, changing the oil, and inspecting the spark plug every 50 hours of use or every 6 months. Detailed schedules are available in the user manual.
Check if there's fuel in the tank, the fuel valve is open, and the spark plug is in good condition. Ensure the engine switch is "ON" and the choke is set correctly. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or seek professional help.
Inspect the air filter for dirt, check the fuel for contamination, and examine the spark plug for wear. Clean or replace components as necessary.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter element, and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Drain the fuel tank and carburetor, change the oil, and remove the spark plug. Store the generator in a dry, clean area. Cover it to prevent dust accumulation.
If the generator begins to slow down or shut off unexpectedly, it may be overloaded. Disconnect some appliances and restart the generator to see if normal operation resumes.
Avoid using the generator in wet conditions to prevent electrical shock and damage. Always operate the generator in a dry, well-ventilated area.
