To pair your WI-XB400 with a Bluetooth device, first ensure the headset is turned off. Press and hold the power button for about 7 seconds until the indicator starts flashing blue and red. This indicates pairing mode. On your Bluetooth device, search for and select "WI-XB400" to connect.
If your WI-XB400 is not charging, ensure the charging cable and adapter are functioning properly by testing them with another device. Clean the charging port on the headphones to remove any debris. If the issue persists, try using a different USB cable or power source.
To reset the WI-XB400 headphones, press and hold both the power button and the play/call button simultaneously for about 7 seconds until the indicator flashes blue four times. This will reset the headphones to factory settings.
To check the battery level of your WI-XB400, press the power button quickly while the headphones are turned on. The indicator light will flash, and a voice prompt will announce the approximate battery level.
To clean your WI-XB400 headphones, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any chemicals or abrasive materials. Regularly inspect and clean the earbud tips to ensure optimal sound quality.
The WI-XB400 headphones are not waterproof or water-resistant. It is recommended to avoid using them in the rain or exposing them to moisture to prevent damage.
To improve Bluetooth connection stability, keep your WI-XB400 and connected device within the recommended range, avoiding obstacles like walls and metal objects. Ensure there are no other devices causing interference nearby. Updating the firmware of both the headphones and your device may also help.
If your WI-XB400 is not producing sound, check the volume level on both the headphones and the connected device. Ensure the device is not muted. Confirm that the headphones are properly connected via Bluetooth. Restart the headphones and the device if the problem persists.
The WI-XB400 does not support multipoint connection, meaning it cannot be connected to two devices simultaneously. You need to disconnect from one device before connecting to another.
The battery in the WI-XB400 is built-in and not user-replaceable. If you experience battery issues, it is recommended to contact Sony support or an authorized service center for assistance.
