If your WI-1000X headphones are not turning on, ensure they are charged by connecting them to a power source using the provided USB cable. If the issue persists, attempt a reset by pressing the power button and the NC button simultaneously for 7 seconds.
To reset the Sony WI-1000X to factory settings, turn off the headphones, then press and hold the power and NC buttons together for more than 10 seconds. The indicator will flash blue four times, indicating the reset is complete.
The Sony WI-1000X offers up to 10 hours of continuous playback time on a full charge, depending on the usage and settings like noise cancellation and volume level.
To update the firmware on your WI-1000X headphones, use the Sony Headphones Connect app available on Android and iOS. Connect your headphones to your device, open the app, and follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install any available updates.
If the noise cancellation feature is not working effectively, ensure that the earbuds fit securely in your ears. You can also adjust the noise cancellation settings via the Sony Headphones Connect app to suit your environment.
To clean your WI-1000X headphones, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Avoid using water or cleaning solvents. Regularly check and clean the ear tips to ensure optimal sound quality and hygiene.
While the WI-1000X headphones are not specifically designed for sports, they can be used during light workouts. However, they are not waterproof or sweat-resistant, so exercise caution in environments where they may be exposed to moisture.
To activate Ambient Sound Mode on the WI-1000X, press and hold the NC/AMBIENT button until you hear a voice prompt. You can further customize the ambient sound settings through the Sony Headphones Connect app.
If your WI-1000X headphones have connectivity issues, ensure that your device's Bluetooth is turned on and within range. Try resetting the headphones and removing any potential interference by turning off other Bluetooth devices nearby.
