To perform a factory reset on the Sony STR-DG600, press and hold the "POWER" button while pressing the "TONE MODE" and "TONE CONTROL" buttons at the same time. Release all buttons when "MEMORY CLEARING" appears on the display.
First, check the speaker connections to ensure they are properly connected. Then, verify that the correct audio input source is selected. Additionally, make sure the "MUTING" function is not activated and the volume is turned up.
Connect the HDMI OUT jack on the receiver to the HDMI IN jack on your TV using an HDMI cable. Make sure to select the appropriate HDMI input on your TV to receive the audio and video signals from the receiver.
Check if the receiver is turned on and the power cord is securely connected. If the display is still not working, try unplugging the receiver for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to reset the system.
Connect the FM and AM antennas to the designated ports on the receiver. Press the "FM/AM" button to select the radio band. Use the tuning controls to search for stations or manually enter the frequency using the remote control.
Ensure that the remote control has fresh batteries and is pointed directly at the receiver. Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver. If problems persist, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons twice before reinserting the batteries.
Connect the HDMI or component cables from the Blu-ray player or gaming console to the corresponding input jacks on the receiver. Make sure to select the appropriate input source on the receiver to access the connected device.
Access the receiver's equalizer settings through the "TONE MODE" button and adjust the bass levels to your preference. Ensure that the subwoofer is properly connected and the subwoofer volume is turned up.
The Sony STR-DG600 does not support firmware updates via USB or online. Ensure all connections and settings are correct for optimal performance.
Use the "AUTO CAL" function by connecting the supplied calibration microphone to the receiver. Place the microphone at your listening position, and follow the on-screen instructions to start the calibration process.
