To connect speakers to the Sony STR-DE685, ensure the receiver is turned off. Connect the speaker wires to the corresponding speaker terminals on the back of the receiver, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Make sure the wires are securely fastened.
Check that all connections are secure and that the correct input source is selected. Verify that the speakers are properly connected and the volume is turned up. Ensure that the MUTE function is not activated.
To reset the Sony STR-DE685, turn off the receiver. Press and hold the POWER button while pressing the TONE MODE and SOUND FIELD MODE buttons simultaneously. This will reset the unit to factory settings.
