Connect the audio outputs of your TV to the audio inputs on the receiver using appropriate cables (such as HDMI or RCA). Set the receiver to the correct input mode that corresponds to the connection used.
First, replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver. If the problem persists, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons.
Connect the FM and AM antennas to the respective terminals on the receiver. Use the "TUNER" button to select FM or AM. Use the tuning buttons to find a station or press "AUTO-BETICAL SELECT" for automatic tuning.
The Sony STR-DE597 does not have built-in Bluetooth. However, you can use a Bluetooth adapter connected to one of the audio inputs for wireless streaming.
Regularly dust the receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked. Check and secure all connections periodically. Avoid exposing the receiver to extreme temperatures or humidity.
Press the "SURR" button on the remote control to cycle through the available surround sound modes. Adjust the speaker levels using the "LEVEL" button to optimize the sound balance for your room.
Check if the receiver is powered on and the power cable is connected properly. Ensure that the display is not set to "Dimmer" mode. Reset the receiver if necessary.
Use high-quality audio cables for connections. Ensure speakers are properly positioned and calibrated. Experiment with different sound modes and equalizer settings to find the best audio output for your environment.
