To perform a factory reset, turn off the receiver. Then, while holding down the "Power" button, press and hold the "TONE MODE" button until "INITIAL" appears on the display. Release both buttons, and the receiver will reset to factory settings.
First, check if the speaker wires are properly connected and the speakers are not muted. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source. If the problem persists, try a different set of speakers to rule out a speaker issue.
Connect the HDMI output from the receiver to the HDMI input on your TV. Ensure the TV is set to the appropriate HDMI input. Then, connect your devices to the receiver's HDMI inputs.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the receiver. Avoid using any liquid or spray cleaners. Ensure the receiver is powered off and unplugged during cleaning.
Unfortunately, the STR-DA2400ES does not support firmware updates via USB or internet. Firmware updates are not applicable to this model.
This may be due to the auto standby function. To disable it, go to the receiver's menu, select "System Settings," and set "Auto Standby" to "Off." Ensure there is proper ventilation to avoid overheating.
Refer to the remote control's manual to find the correct codes for your other devices. Press and hold the "SAVING" button on the remote while entering the code to program it for the desired device.
The receiver supports various audio formats including Dolby Digital, DTS, LPCM, and more. Refer to the user manual for the complete list of supported formats.
The Sony STR-DA2400ES does not have built-in Bluetooth connectivity. You can use a Bluetooth adapter connected to the receiver's audio input to stream audio from Bluetooth devices.
The STR-DA2400ES does not support 4K pass-through. You can connect 4K devices directly to the TV and use the receiver for audio by connecting an optical cable from the TV to the receiver.
