To connect your Sony STR-D565 to a TV, use an RCA cable. Connect the video output from the receiver to the video input on your TV. Ensure the TV input is set to the appropriate source.
First, check that all speaker wires are securely connected. Ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source and the volume is turned up. Also, verify that the speaker settings are correctly configured in the receiver's menu.
To reset the STR-D565, turn off the receiver. Press and hold the "Power" button along with the "Preset Tuning +" button until "All Clear" appears on the display. Release the buttons to complete the reset.
Connect the FM and AM antennas to the respective terminals on the receiver. Use the "Tuning" buttons to find the desired station and press "Memory" to save it to a preset.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior of the receiver. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or sprays directly on the unit. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check the fuse in the receiver's power supply and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, seek professional service.
The STR-D565 does not support wireless speakers directly. However, you can use a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the headphone jack to pair with wireless speakers that have Bluetooth capability.
Use the "Tone" control buttons on the front panel of the receiver. Press "Bass" or "Treble" and then use the volume knob to adjust the level to your preference.
Check if the batteries in the remote control need replacement. Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the receiver. If the issue persists, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries for a few minutes.
Use the available audio input jacks on the back of the receiver. Connect the output of your audio device to the corresponding input on the receiver using RCA cables, and then select the input source on the receiver.
