To set presets, tune to your desired station, press the ‘Memory’ button, select the preset number using the tuning knob, and press ‘Enter’ to save.
Ensure the power cord is securely connected. Check the outlet for power and inspect the fuse in the plug. If issues persist, the device may require servicing.
Try adjusting the antenna position for better signal. If using an outdoor antenna, ensure it is properly aligned and connected. Consider using a signal amplifier if necessary.
To reset, unplug the unit, hold down the ‘Memory’ and ‘Power’ buttons while plugging it back in, and release the buttons once the display shows the reset confirmation.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid using liquid cleaners. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe gently.
The ST-JX401 is a tuner and does not have built-in amplification for external speakers. Connect it to an amplifier or receiver with speaker outputs.
Static could indicate poor reception. Check the antenna connection, try repositioning it, and ensure there are no sources of interference nearby.
The ST-JX401 does not support firmware updates as it is an analog tuner. Ensure proper maintenance and servicing to keep it functioning optimally.
