To set the time on your Sony SRF-M35FP, press and hold the 'TIME SET' button until the time display begins to flash. Use the tuning buttons to adjust the hours and minutes. Press 'TIME SET' again to confirm.
First, check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. If the issue persists, try replacing the batteries with new ones. Ensure the battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion.
To improve FM reception, extend the antenna fully and try repositioning the radio. Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference. In some cases, moving closer to a window can help.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior of your Sony SRF-M35FP. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with water for stubborn stains, but do not allow moisture to enter the device.
To reset your Sony SRF-M35FP, remove the batteries and leave them out for a few minutes. Reinsert the batteries, and the radio will reset to its default factory settings. Note that stored presets will be lost.
Poor AM reception can be caused by nearby electronic devices or interference from thick walls. Try repositioning the radio or moving it away from potential sources of interference. Adjusting the radio's orientation may also help.
To store a radio station, tune to the desired frequency, press and hold the 'MEMORY' button until the preset number flashes, then use the tuning buttons to select a preset number and press 'MEMORY' again to save.
The Sony SRF-M35FP requires two AA batteries. It's recommended to use alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
To lock the buttons, slide the 'HOLD' switch to the on position. This will prevent any accidental button presses from changing the settings on your radio.
If the display is not showing correctly, try resetting the radio by removing and reinserting the batteries. If the issue persists, the display may need servicing by a professional technician.
