To replace the batteries, slide open the battery compartment located at the back of the headset. Remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the indications inside the compartment. Close the compartment securely.
For better radio reception, try adjusting the position of the headset as the antenna is built into it. Ensure you are in an open area away from obstructions and electronic devices that may cause interference. If indoors, try moving closer to windows.
Clean the exterior of the headset using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish. For the ear pads, gently wipe them with a damp cloth and allow them to dry completely before use.
Ensure the volume is turned up and the batteries are not depleted. Check that the headphones are properly positioned on your head and the ear cups cover your ears completely. Verify that the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
To preset stations, tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the preset buttons until you hear a beep. The station is now stored in that preset number. Repeat the process for other stations.
The Sony SRF-H3 provides approximately 47 hours of continuous usage with FM reception and 54 hours with AM reception, using alkaline batteries. Battery life may vary depending on usage conditions.
To reset, remove the batteries and leave them out for a few minutes. Reinsert the batteries and the unit will return to its default factory settings, erasing all presets and settings.
Yes, you can use rechargeable AAA batteries. However, the operating time may be shorter compared to alkaline batteries. Ensure the batteries are fully charged before use.
Distortion at high volumes may be due to the limitations of the headset’s speakers. Try reducing the volume to a comfortable level. If distortion persists, check if the batteries need replacement.
The Sony SRF-H3 is not water-resistant. Avoid exposing it to water, rain, or excessive moisture to prevent damage to the electronic components.
