To set the clock on your Sony PMC-20, press and hold the 'Clock Set' button until the hour digits start flashing. Use the tuning controls to adjust the hour, then press 'Enter' to confirm. Repeat the process for setting the minutes.
Ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. If the problem persists, try cleaning the lens with a CD lens cleaner. If the issue continues, it may require professional servicing.
Extend the FM antenna fully and reposition it for better reception. Avoid placing the unit near metal objects or electronic devices that might cause interference.
Check if the power cord is securely plugged into an outlet and the unit. Ensure the outlet is functioning by testing another device. If using batteries, check if they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
Press the 'Band' button repeatedly to toggle between AM and FM bands. The current band will be displayed on the screen.
The Sony PMC-20 is designed with built-in speakers and does not have an option for connecting external speakers.
To reset the PMC-20 to factory settings, disconnect the power source, then press and hold the 'Power' button while reconnecting it. Release the button once the reset process completes.
The Sony PMC-20 uses six C-size batteries. Battery life will vary depending on usage and battery brand, but typically lasts around 10-15 hours of playback.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surface.
The PMC-20 does not support Bluetooth or auxiliary input for direct smartphone playback. Consider using a separate Bluetooth receiver connected to a compatible input if available.
