To connect the Sony MDR-RF6000 to your TV, use the supplied audio cable to connect the transmitter to the audio output ports of your TV. Ensure the transmitter is powered on and the headphones are charged before use.
If there's no sound, first check that the transmitter is connected to the audio source and that both the transmitter and headphones are powered on. Ensure the volume is turned up and the headphones are within range of the transmitter.
To improve sound quality, ensure that there are no obstructions between the transmitter and headphones. Also, check that the audio source is set to an appropriate volume level and try changing the RF channel to reduce interference.
To charge the batteries, place the headphones on the transmitter unit, ensuring that the charging contacts align. The charging indicator will light up, showing that the charging process is underway.
The Sony MDR-RF6000 has a wireless range of up to approximately 100 meters (328 feet) in open areas without obstructions. Range may vary based on environmental conditions.
To reduce static noise, try changing the RF channel using the channel selector on the transmitter. Ensure the headphones are fully charged and that there are no electronic devices causing interference nearby.
It is recommended to use the supplied rechargeable batteries for optimal performance. If replacements are needed, use batteries of the same type and specification to ensure compatibility.
To clean the ear pads, gently wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or soaking the pads in water. Allow them to dry completely before use.
If the headphones are not charging, ensure they are properly seated on the transmitter with the charging contacts aligned. Check the power connection to the transmitter and try cleaning the charging contacts.
To replace the ear pads, gently pull the existing pads off the headphones. Align the new pads with the ear cups and press them into place until they securely fit.
