Sony MDR-NC100D Operating Instructions

To activate the noise-canceling feature, ensure your headphones are powered on by pressing the power button until the indicator light turns on. The noise-canceling function will automatically activate.
Check if the USB charging cable is properly connected to the headphones and a power source. If the issue persists, try using a different cable or power adapter. Additionally, inspect the charging port for any debris.
Gently pull the existing ear tip off from the earbud. Align the new ear tip with the earbud nozzle and press it on until it fits snugly. Ensure it is securely attached before use.
Ensure that the audio source is not the issue by testing with another device. Check if the ear tips are properly fitted and clean any debris from the earbuds. Also, verify that the headphones are fully charged for optimal performance.
While the headphones are powered on, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes. This will reset the headphones to their factory settings.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the earbuds and main unit. Avoid using any liquid or solvent cleaners. For the ear tips, they can be removed and rinsed with warm water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
Avoid overcharging the battery and try to charge it only when necessary. Store the headphones in a cool, dry place and avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures. Turn off the noise-canceling feature when not needed to conserve battery.
Ensure the headphones are powered on and properly connected to the audio source. Check the volume level on both the headphones and the source device. Try using a different audio cable if applicable.
When the noise-canceling feature is active, you should notice a significant reduction in ambient noise. Additionally, the indicator light will be on when the feature is enabled.
The Sony MDR-NC100D headphones are not water-resistant. It is recommended to avoid using them in wet conditions to prevent damage to the electronic components.
