Ensure that the CD is inserted correctly with the label side facing up. Check if the CD is clean and free from scratches. If the problem persists, try a different CD to rule out the possibility of a defective disc.
For better radio reception, fully extend the FM wire antenna and adjust its position. For AM, rotate the unit to find the best reception angle. Avoid placing the radio near other electronic devices that may cause interference.
Press and hold the ALARM button until the display starts flashing. Use the TIME SET + or - buttons to set the desired wake-up time. Press ALARM again to select the alarm mode (radio, buzzer, or CD). Confirm your settings by pressing ALARM once more.
Check if the DIMMER switch is set to a lower brightness level. If adjusting the DIMMER switch does not resolve the issue, ensure that the unit is plugged into a stable power source, as power fluctuations can affect display brightness.
Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives that may damage the surface. For the CD player, gently wipe the disc tray with a dry cloth to remove any dust.
Ensure that the alarm is set to the correct time and mode. Check the VOLUME control to ensure it is not set too low. Also, verify that the alarm indicator is displayed on the screen, confirming the alarm is activated.
Yes, the backup battery can be replaced. Open the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit and replace the old battery with a new CR2032 lithium battery. Ensure the polarity matches the markings inside the compartment.
To reset the unit, disconnect the power cord and remove the backup battery. Wait for a few minutes before reinserting the battery and reconnecting the power cord. This will reset the clock and any stored settings.
Check to ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the power outlet. Verify that the outlet is functioning by testing it with another device. If the unit still doesn't turn on, inspect the backup battery and replace it if necessary.
