To set the time on your Sony ICF-C760, press and hold the 'Clock' button until the time flashes. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to adjust the time, then press 'Clock' again to confirm.
Ensure that the alarm is set to the correct time and that the 'Alarm' switch is set to 'ON'. Additionally, check the volume to ensure it is not set too low.
Try extending the antenna fully and repositioning the radio for better reception. Avoid placing the radio near electronic devices that may cause interference.
Check the power connection to ensure the radio is plugged in. If the display is still not working, consider resetting the unit by unplugging it for a few minutes.
The Sony ICF-C760 is powered by an AC adapter and does not have a battery compartment for operation. It may, however, use a backup battery to maintain settings during power outages.
To set the alarm sound type, toggle the 'Alarm Mode' switch to select between radio and buzzer. Ensure the radio is tuned to a station if choosing radio mode.
This may occur if the backup battery is depleted. Replace the backup battery to maintain the clock settings during power interruptions.
To clean your Sony ICF-C760, unplug the unit and use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using liquids or abrasive materials to prevent damage.
Check the volume level and reduce it if necessary. Ensure the radio is correctly tuned to a station and that there is no interference from other devices.
To perform a factory reset, unplug the unit from the power source, press and hold the 'Reset' button (if available) with a pointed object for a few seconds, and then plug it back in.
