To set the alarm on the Sony ICF-C320, press and hold the 'ALARM' button. Use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to set the desired wake-up time. Release the 'ALARM' button to confirm. Ensure the 'ALARM ON/OFF' switch is set to 'ON'.
To correct the time display, press and hold the 'CLOCK' button, then use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to adjust the time accordingly. Release the 'CLOCK' button to save the settings.
Improve radio reception by fully extending the FM wire antenna and adjusting its position. For AM reception, rotate the unit to find the best signal. Avoid placing the unit near electronic devices that may cause interference.
The Sony ICF-C320 uses a 9V battery for backup. Ensure the battery is correctly installed in the compartment to maintain settings in case of power failure.
Ensure the alarm time is correctly set and the 'ALARM ON/OFF' switch is in the 'ON' position. Check if the volume is turned up and not muted. Verify if the backup battery is functioning to prevent settings loss.
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, press and hold the 'CLOCK' button while simultaneously pressing the '12H/24H' button until the desired format is displayed.
The Sony ICF-C320 does not have an option to change the buzzer sound. It comes with a standard buzzer tone as the alarm sound.
To reset the Sony ICF-C320, unplug the unit from the power source and remove the backup battery. Wait for a minute, then reinsert the battery and plug the unit back in. This will reset the clock and alarm settings.
If the buttons are unresponsive, ensure the unit is plugged in and receiving power. Check the backup battery for corrosion or depletion. Reset the unit by unplugging it and removing the battery, then reassemble and test the buttons again.
To clean your Sony ICF-C320, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Ensure the unit is unplugged during cleaning.
