To set the alarm on the Sony ICF-C215, press the 'Alarm Set' button and use the tuning dial to adjust the time. Confirm the setting by pressing 'Alarm Set' again.
If the Sony ICF-C215 does not turn on, ensure that it is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Check the power cord and try resetting the device by unplugging it for a few minutes.
To improve radio reception, extend the antenna fully and orient it in different directions for better signal. Placing the radio near a window may also help.
To change the time display format, press and hold the 'Clock' button until the time flashes, then press the 'Time Set' button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
To reset the Sony ICF-C215 to factory settings, unplug the device for about a minute, then plug it back in. This will clear any custom settings.
Press the 'Sleep' button repeatedly to select the desired sleep duration. The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.
Adjust the display brightness by pressing the 'Brightness' button until the desired level is reached. Ensure the ambient light sensor is not obstructed.
To check the backup battery, unplug the radio from the power outlet and see if the time and alarm settings are retained. If not, replace the battery with a new one.
The Sony ICF-C215 does not support connection to external audio devices as it is designed primarily as a clock radio.
Ensure the alarm is set correctly and activated. Check the volume level to make sure it's audible. Confirm that the AM/PM setting is correct if using the 12-hour format.
