To set the alarm, press and hold the 'Alarm Set' button. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to adjust the time. Release the 'Alarm Set' button to confirm.
Check the Dimmer switch located on the back of the unit. Adjust it to your preferred brightness level. If the problem persists, check the power supply.
Use the 'Band' button to toggle between AM and FM. Once selected, use the tuning dial to find your desired station.
Press and hold the 'Clock' button while using the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set the correct time. Release the 'Clock' button to save the settings.
Ensure the volume is turned up and the correct band (AM/FM) is selected. Check the connections and ensure the antenna is fully extended.
Replace the backup battery every six months to ensure the clock settings are retained during power outages. Use a CR2032 lithium battery.
The Sony ICF-C180 does not feature a headphone jack, so listening with headphones is not supported.
Unplug the radio and use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surfaces. Avoid using chemicals or abrasive materials.
Ensure the antenna is fully extended for FM radio. For AM, try repositioning the radio or moving it closer to a window to improve reception.
Check that the alarm is set correctly and the volume is turned up. Ensure the 'Alarm On/Off' switch is set to 'On'.
