To set the alarm on your Sony ICF-C111, press and hold the 'Alarm Set' button. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set the desired wake-up time. Release the 'Alarm Set' button to confirm your settings.
Ensure the device is properly plugged into an electrical outlet. Check the power cord for any damage. If the problem persists, try using a different outlet or check the internal fuse if accessible.
To improve radio reception, fully extend the antenna and reposition it. Try placing the device near a window or away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
Press and hold the 'Clock' button. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to adjust the time. Release the 'Clock' button to save the new time setting.
Check for any obstructions on the display and clean it with a soft, dry cloth. If the display remains unclear, adjust the brightness settings if available, or ensure the device is plugged in properly.
Press the 'Band' button to toggle between AM and FM radio bands. Ensure that the radio is turned on and the antenna is properly extended for better reception.
The Sony ICF-C111 uses a 9V battery for backup power to maintain the clock and alarm settings during a power outage. Ensure the battery is installed correctly.
