To reset the player to factory settings, turn off the DVD player. Then, press and hold the STOP button on the player while pressing the POWER button. Release both buttons when 'RESET' appears on the display.
Ensure the disc is clean and free from scratches. Check that the disc is compatible with the player. If the issue persists, try cleaning the laser lens using a DVD lens cleaner disc.
To enhance audio quality, ensure that the player is connected to a high-quality sound system via digital optical or coaxial cable. Access the audio settings menu and select the appropriate audio output settings for your system.
Check that the video cables are properly connected to both the DVD player and the TV. Make sure the TV is set to the correct input source. Try using a different video cable if the problem continues.
The Sony DVP-NS9100ES does not support firmware updates via USB or the internet. For updates, contact Sony support for further assistance.
