To transfer photos, connect the camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Turn on the camera, and it should be recognized as a removable drive. Open the drive on your computer to access and copy the photos.
Ensure that the battery is charged and properly inserted. If the camera still doesn't turn on, try removing and reinserting the battery. Check if the battery contacts are clean; if not, clean them with a dry cloth.
To reset the camera to factory settings, go to the menu, select "Setup," and then choose "Initialize." This will reset the camera settings but will not delete any stored images.
Ensure the camera is steady when taking photos, or use a tripod. Check the focus settings, and make sure you're not too close to the subject if you're not using macro mode.
Access the main menu, select "Image Size," and choose your desired resolution. For higher quality, select a larger image size.
The Sony DSC-P201 is compatible with Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo cards. Ensure the card is properly inserted and formatted in the camera before use.
To extend battery life, reduce the use of the LCD screen by using the viewfinder, avoid unnecessary zooming, and turn off the camera when not in use. Additionally, keep the battery contacts clean.
Turn the camera off and on again. If the lens remains stuck, remove the battery and memory card, then reinsert them. Gently clean around the lens barrel with a soft brush to remove any debris.
Visit Sony's official support website to check for available firmware updates. Follow the instructions provided on the website to download and install the update onto the camera.
Use a higher ISO setting for better sensitivity in low light. Activate the camera's night mode or use a tripod to prevent blur from camera shake. Consider using external lighting if possible.
