To set the clock, press the "Clock" button and hold it until the hour digits flash. Use the "Tune/Time Set" buttons to set the hour, then press "Clock" again. Repeat for the minutes.
Ensure the CD is placed correctly with the label side up. Check for scratches or dirt on the CD surface. If the problem persists, try cleaning the lens with a CD lens cleaner.
The Sony CFD-ZW150 does not support external speakers directly. It is designed for use with its built-in speakers only.
Try extending the antenna fully and adjust its position for better reception. Placing the unit near a window can also help. Avoid locations with electronic interference.
Check if the cassette is inserted correctly. Ensure the tape is not tangled or damaged. Regularly clean the cassette player's heads using a head cleaning tape.
Press the "Band" button to toggle between AM and FM radio bands. The display will indicate the current selection.
Check if the sleep timer is activated, as it can cause the unit to power off after a set time. Additionally, ensure the power cord is securely connected.
Insert a blank cassette tape, tune to the desired radio station, and press the "Record" button. Press "Stop" to end the recording.
The Sony CFD-ZW150 requires 6 size C (R14) batteries for portable operation. Ensure they are inserted correctly according to the polarity markings.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the surface.
