To reset the Sony CFD-S350, unplug the power cord from the AC outlet, wait for about 60 seconds, and plug it back in. This will reset the system to its default settings.
Ensure that the CD is inserted correctly with the label side facing up. Check for any dirt or scratches on the CD surface. If the issue persists, try using a different CD to determine if the problem is with the player or the disc.
Extend the telescopic antenna fully and adjust its position for better reception. For FM radio, try positioning the unit near a window to avoid interference. For AM radio, move the unit away from electronic devices.
Check that the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is working by testing it with another device. If using batteries, make sure they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
Use a CD lens cleaning disc available at most electronics retailers. Follow the instructions provided with the cleaning disc to ensure proper maintenance of the lens.
The Sony CFD-S350 does not have an output for external speakers. It is designed to be a standalone unit with built-in speakers.
Check the volume level and ensure it is not set to the minimum. Make sure the "MUTING" feature is not activated. Verify that headphones are not connected to the headphone jack, as this will silence the speakers.
Press the "CLOCK" button, then use the "TUNING/TIME SET" buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press "CLOCK" again to finalize the time setting.
The Sony CFD-S350 is compatible with standard audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs. It does not support MP3 or data discs.
Open the cassette compartment, insert a tape, and close the compartment. Press the "PLAY" button to start playback. Use the "STOP", "REWIND", and "FAST FORWARD" buttons for tape navigation.
