To set the clock, press the 'Clock' button until the hour digits flash, then use the 'Tuning' buttons to adjust the hour. Press 'Clock' again to set minutes and adjust similarly.
Ensure the AC power cord is properly connected. If using batteries, check if they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge.
Extend the antenna fully and adjust its position. For FM, move the unit closer to a window. For AM, rotate the unit for better signal.
Clean the CD to ensure it's free from dirt and scratches. Check that the unit is on a stable surface to minimize vibration.
Insert the cassette tape into the slot, close the door, and press 'Play'. Use 'Rewind' or 'Fast Forward' to navigate through the tape.
Check the volume level and reduce it if too high. Ensure speakers are not obstructed and try repositioning the unit to avoid interference.
Use a CD lens cleaner disc following the instructions provided with the cleaning kit. Avoid touching the lens directly to prevent damage.
Ensure the CD is inserted label side up and is free from scratches or dirt. Try another CD to determine if the issue is with the disc.
The Sony CFD-E95 does not support external speaker connections. It is designed to use its built-in speakers exclusively.
Unplug the unit from power and remove any batteries. Wait a few minutes and reconnect the power to reset the system to its default settings.
