To set the clock, press the "Clock" button, then use the tuning buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Confirm by pressing "Enter".
Ensure the power cord is properly connected, and check if the batteries are fresh if using battery power. If the problem persists, try a different power outlet.
Extend the antenna fully and adjust its position. Avoid placing the device near electronic appliances that might cause interference.
Clean the CD for any smudges or scratches. Ensure the device is on a stable surface and not subject to vibrations.
The Sony CFD-E90 does not have an output for external speakers as it is designed as a standalone unit.
Press the "Radio/Band" button to toggle between AM and FM bands. Use the tuning buttons to find your desired station.
Use a cassette head cleaner or a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the heads and rollers.
The Sony CFD-E90 requires 6 size C batteries for portable operation.
To reset the device, disconnect the power cord and remove the batteries for a few minutes before reconnecting.
Do not force the tape out. Turn off the device and gently press the eject button. If it remains stuck, carefully open the cassette compartment manually and remove the tape.
